Reserve Chardonnay
Wine
Yering Station Reserve Chardonnay is made from estate grown Mendoza and P58 clone vines planted in the 1990s in yellow clay alluvial loam over deteriorated mudstones.
The grapes are handpicked and barrel fermented for 21 days using wild and cultured yeasts. There is no malolactic fermentation. The wine ages in new and seasoned French oak for 11 months prior to release.
Light green straw, Yering Station Reserve Chardonnay has intense citrus fruit flavours that build to a remarkable power and length. Cellaring potential is six years.
